As everybody can see our blog favicon, profile picture for BESTA IIUM (facebook account), and also group profile picture we are using our new logo for BESTA IIUM.
The idea of changing the logo is from our president, Iswadi and agreed by all board of BESTA. We are waiting for the new logo which have maturity and identity and also on par with other departments. However, the old logo still inspires the new one by maintaining few items in the new logo. Picture of DNA, theme color and the abbreviation of BESTA itself still in the logo. In short, the older logo is the spark of the new one.
The logo was first proposed with dark green color wholly. Kind of not really attractive, we do some adjustment to the color. Light green and toned to the white color, waallaah! Agreed by the BESTA board members, this logo is accepted to be our official logo.
It is our apology for not organizing a competition to design the logo. Due to the last minute plan, and heavy workload by all the students, we considered this new logo as our tenure achievement. Thus, do not hesitate to give your comments and suggestions for any improvement. We, from BESTA board members are really appreciate and waiting for that.
