Last month, in order to promote Biotechnology (Biochemical) Engineering Department and to show our support for Engineering Student Society (ENGINIUS), BESTA was participating in the Engineering Technology Exhibition and Career (TEX-C). We qualified to get one of the booth in the CAC hall at the foyer 1.
This exhibition was conducted by all the BESTA bureau except educational bureau. However, all the BESTA's committee members was involve in rotating on duty at the booth.
We have to explain deeply about the Biotechnology Course in IIUM and also what have been done by the department about this course. Recently, IRIE 's exhibition items also included in the booth.
With lecturers and staffs help, we manage to get few items and apparatus from the laboratory.
The exposure to the public is very good and perhaps, one day we could also
go to the schools and CFS IIUM to promote this course to the others. InsyaALLAH..
